The Customer Operations Directorate mission is to facilitate and coordinate efficient and effective support from our five supply chains to our warfighter customers.
The Customer Operations mission includes assessing Operation and Contingency plans (OPLAN/CONPLAN) using Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) techniques. This organization also develops and executes a customer engagement plan that identifies key military and civilian agency entities and partners with them through Performance Based Agreements (PBAs). These interactions identify material support needs and coordinate Troop Support resources to meet those needs though logistics and acquisition solutions.
Our Directorate adds value by acting as an integration point for our customers, the DLA Troop Support Command, the DLA Troop Support Supply Chains, other ICPs, Field Activities and HQ J3 on issues that cross our supply chains. Our vision is to provide DLA and the DLA Troop Support enterprise with “Customer Intelligence” that makes the “DLA Brand” essential to the warfighter always and in all ways.
